When we asked to build a 70 Series shock we did it like we do all our shock and decided not to cut corner due to cost. What is the point of building something if you are just doing it for profit, don’t get me wrong we got to make money, but we got to win races too. This shock can do just that, we started out by giving the body a little more meat to increase strength and to decrease body flex caused by the coil over kit and the side load that it provides. Making a shock to increase feel and grip by reducing side loads, bind and lag in the shock allowing it to work just as needed. Than we added a course thread system and strong coil over kit to make adjusting easy in the dark and the dirt, 8 threads per inch so it is easy to adjust when trying to set preload on a spring. We add a Schrader valve to this shock instead of the needle fill system because that is what most people were use and were a custom to. We used our proven piston design along with our standard shimming system for an aluminum shock. This shock can come with other features like a Base Valve or adjustable shaft to make it a 71 Series shock.
